RULEMAKING PROCEEDING TO AMEND THE RULES OF PRACTICE OF THE ALABAMA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION
By order issued on September 3, 2026, the Commission established a rulemaking proceeding to amend its Rules of Practice. The order proposed removing the requirements for mailed and delivered copies to have ten (10) additional copies, and for electronic filings to be accompanied by a physical copy.
Interested parties may submit initial comments in this proceeding, which will be considered by the Commission if received on or before September 16, 2026. Interested parties may submit reply comments in this proceeding, which will be considered by the Commission if received on or before September 23, 2026.
